I decided I needed a better way of removing 1911 grip screw bushings that back out with the grip screw.

A customer brought in his Ruger 10/22 trigger group with the safety removed. I'm not sure why he had removed it but he was unable to get it back in.

Over the years, I've had to make shim washers for triggers and other parts in sizes or thicknesses that were not available commercially. You may want to give this a try the next time you need a small washer.

I am sure this has been submitted before however it has been around for 60 years and deserves to be revisited. Ed's Red Bore Cleaner is awesome at what it does and I keep aprox. 5 gals around the shop and use it quite a bit. It is still quite economical to mix up.

I just wanted to add to what you're talking about in your latest E-Letter Fix for the AR-15 Trigger Guard Roll Pin Install is a Role of Electrical Tape if you place that under the Wing with the lower laying flat on its side it is the right size to support the trigger guard on the lower on its side as your pounding the pin in.

We occasionally see AR-15 lowers with one of the trigger guard mounting 'ears' broken off.

If a person has done a lot of load developement in reloading a new caliber, there is one thing you can count on. This problem I'm talking about is getting a bullet stuck in the throat of your weapon, whether it be a pistol or a rifle. I've have had it happen to both and even occasionally on a .22 rifle.

A common complaint about AR15/M16 grips is that they are too small.

If you use an AR-15 armorer's wrench to tighten a flash hider and you are using a crush washer, the wrench may bind. The tail end of an A2 flash hider is shorter than the wrench is thick.

This is a solution I found while figuring out how to remove a stuck live round in a chamber (I was able to open the bolt)
