A Retro Handguard for Your AR-10 Prototype
Many AR-15 enthusiasts don't know that Eugene Stoner's original AR prototype was actually an AR-10 rifle chambered for the .308 Win. cartridge! Only later did the 5.56 NATO rifle emerge as the primary design. The Brownells BRN-10 Prototype Handguard is a detailed reproduction of the original handguard found on these prototype .308 Win. rifle models.
The Brownells BRN-10 Prototype Handguard features the classic rounded shape of the 1950s-era handguards and feature six venting holes on each side of the handguard to promote barrel cooling.
- Two-piece handguard design
- Constructed from polymer
- Measures 12 inches long
- Available in black, brown or green
The Brownells BRN-10 Prototype Handguard is designed for use with rifle-length gas systems and requires a round front handguard cap for installation.
